P2P day 19
6th state of the trip, we arrived in South Dakota early in the ride. Great day on and off the bike. Most scenic day so far and even had some tailwind. Also, Heather was waiting at the hotel when I arrived. Here’s a few pics from day 19.
One of my fellow riders, Ralph cruising out of Spearfish Canyon. Spearfish Canyon was a 20 mile scenic gradual ascent but it’s one where I did not heed Heather’s advice and take photos so you’ll have to take my word for it.

Went to a brewery before dinner and they were nice enough to let me bring my bike inside so it wouldn’t get stolen.
Heather and I are doing the typical things that you do in South Dakota. Mt. Rushmore and laundry.

I look forward to hearing about your site seeing day - I recently drove the route and also thought the state was very scenic and Mount Rushmore is impressive - Enjoy your day off - then . . . ride on!
